About Me

• I am a sixty something wife, mother of 4 and grandmother of 4, soon to be 5! My life is amazingly good! 
• I spend my week days with my grandchildren or working on scrapbooking or photography. 
• I design most of my own backgrounds and elements for my projects and generally have a style that is simple. I like the focus of my work to be the photographs and words, not the bling.
• I have more projects in mind than years to complete them, so I try to not let myself spend hours on each page, although occasionally I enjoy making an 'art project' out of a picture or set of pictures that especially inspires me.
• I believe that everyone has a story (or lots of stories) to tell. I believe that it is important to capture those stories and preserve them for the edification and enjoyment of others. I am inspired when watching my grandchildren look at scrapbooks from their earlier years....My love and the love of other family members shines out to them from the pages. The message is not lost on them and I hope it will be a tangible reminder to them of how special they are as they grow older.
• I am also inspired to read the stories of my husband's and my own ancestors as I have sorted through boxes of photos and written materials and listened to stories remembered from those lives. They have much to tell us that helps put our lives in perspective. I want my children and grandchildren to have a record of those stories and I am working hard to preserve and illustrate them.
